Which lockout device fits an ABB MCCB T-Max T7 Circuit Breaker?

This question came to us recently. Like all breaker lockouts it all depends on the width, and sometimes the height of the breaker toggle. (We refer to the switch lever as the toggle).

A quick call to ABB who were very helpful sending over the relevant data sheet. Although the toggle width was not shown on the drawing, we were able to estimate the width by scaling from other dimensions given. Our conclusion is that the toggle width is 40mm (1-9/16″).

This being the case we can confirm that this model of lockout device will fit.

The part number is ELO-065397

It may be a very tight fit though. If in doubt, use the larger lockout ELO-065329.
