We’re visiting the Valve World Expo Americas

It’s that time of year when the George R. Brown Convention Centre in Houston plays host to the Valve World Americas Expo and Conference.

Total Lockout are making a visit to the show to check out the latest product offerings of our Principals, Alcatraz Interlocks and Modec Portable Valve Actuators.

Alcatraz are now a Global force in the design and manufacture of safety key interlocks; their valve interlocks are both innovative and robust in design making them ideally suited to call climates and conditions.

The Modec Portable Valve Actuator range has evolved greatly in recent months and we are intrigued to see the latest offerings. Until recently, Modec offered a series of pneumatic portable valve actuators which incorporated their industry-proved air motors. Significantly these were ATEX Certified making them ideal for use in hazardous areas.

Many of the recent product developments include highly innovative methods for connecting the actuators to valve wheels, meaning operating times are significantly reduced.
