Portable Valve Actuator Equipment for the Environment Agency

For a few years now the Environment Agency have been a valued client for Total Lockout by using their portable valve actuators.

The equipment is used for planned valve exercising along water ways in the north of England. Regular exercising and maintenance of their network of sluice gates and penstock ensures that the valves can be opened and closed without delay during periods of flood risk.

Recently we supplied some new equipment which will be used on the river network to the south and east of the City of York. Many of the penstocks are many decades old and each one will have a different drive shaft.

Total Lockout has produced a new set of drive adaptors and supplied them in a handy and durable case to protect them when not in use.

Each adaptor is laser marked to show the geographical location where it will be used.
